Xi Jinping visits the United States, hundreds of groups plan the largest protest

From the 11th to the 17th, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) was held in San Francisco, USA, and public opinion focused on the meeting held on the sidelines of the meeting with Xi Jinping. At the same time, hundreds of groups including the Chinese pro-democracy movement and human rights organizations across the United States are preparing for the largest protests to "welcome" Xi Jinping.
On the evening of November 10, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China confirmed that Xi Jinping will go to the United States to hold the China-US Presidential Meeting and attend the APEC Summit at the same time. This will be Xi Jinping’s first visit to the United States in six years.
Various human rights groups and anti-communist organizations across the United States had begun intensive preparations for protests a few days ago.
On the 7th, 59 human rights organizations issued an open letter calling on Biden to prioritize human rights issues during talks with Xi Jinping. They demanded the release of prisoners of conscience such as Peng Lifa, Xu Zhiyong, Ding Jiaxi, and Jimmy Lai, and urged the CCP to stop violating human rights and enforced disappearances.
On November 10, Jie Lijian, head of the anti-communist activities in Los Angeles and CEO of the China Democratic National Joint Headquarters, told The Epoch Times: “The information we have received is that Xi Jinping may arrive in San Francisco on the evening of the 14th. He will go to San Francisco International Airport in the next few days. Several streets and roads have been temporarily controlled.
"Xi Jinping is very likely to pass by there. If we have the opportunity, we are ready to intercept Xi Jinping's special car to express our greatest protest. Because many petitioners, including many like me, have suffered human rights tragedies that have destroyed their families and killed people, we are very angry. We do not welcome human rights criminals. United States. I think this is a betrayal of human rights and a discredit to the democratic and free system."
The protests will last from the 10th to the 17th
Jie Lijian introduced: On the 10th, before there were road closures in downtown San Francisco and around the venue, democrats Chen Weiming and others would carry the Statue of Liberty sculpture and march from the venue to Chinatown.
On the 11th, various anti-communist groups in Los Angeles will hold a press conference to protest against the tyranny of the Chinese Communist Party and Xi Jinping’s visit to the United States. On the same day, Chinese pro-democracy activists Wei Jingsheng, Wang Dan, and Wang Juntao will also hold a joint press conference for China's "State Affairs Conference" in San Francisco to discuss China's problems at all levels and come up with solutions.
The organizers of this event in Los Angeles include China Democracy Party, Los Angeles China Democracy Platform, Liberty Sculpture Park and Chinese Women’s Rights. There are also Tibetan collar organizations, including more than 10 human rights organizations such as the Tibetan Association of Southern California and the Los Angeles branch of the Myanmar Democratic League movement.
Jie Lijian said: “On the 14th, we will hold an English press conference to inform compatriots across the country to revolt, and we will also sign a denunciation to remove Xi Jinping.
“After the press conference, we will set out to march in the Chinese district, and then go to the scene to protest, including holding huge banners and posting posters to warn the CCP agents and some hometown associations. The banners say that what they have done has been banned. The FBI has documented that their fate will be the same as that of the captured CCP agents.
"We hope to have a deterrent effect by putting up banners, and hope that pro-CCP people will restrain themselves and not join groups paid by the CCP to welcome CCP leaders for the sake of profit."
In recent years, the United States has stepped up its crackdown on CCP infiltration. In the first half of this year alone, the Department of Justice accused at least 49 Chinese of violating foreign agent laws, conducting espionage activities on behalf of the CCP in the United States, stealing trade secrets, and suppressing dissent.
Hundreds of groups across the United States will come to the scene to protest against the CCP
Jie Lijian said, “Our official activities are from the evening of the 14th to the 17th, and we jointly applied for a protest area with the Falun Gong group.
"We will also use various methods such as dropping leaflets outside APEC to draw greater attention from the international community to China's human rights disaster and the disasters of one-party dictatorship everywhere."
Jie Lijian believes: "This is the largest protest with the largest number of people gathered to protest against the CCP overseas. Not only Los Angeles and San Francisco, but also New York, Washington DC, Seattle, Denver, Chicago and other places have come over one after another. , there are almost hundreds of protest groups and organizations.”
Including the China Democracy Party, China Ethnic Education Foundation, Humane China, China Human Rights, China Democracy and Human Rights Alliance and the Democratic Front in the United States, as well as democratic and human rights groups in Tibet, Hong Kong, Vietnam, the Philippines and other regions.
Many Chinese students will participate in the protest
Jie Lijian said, "The protest groups this time are very different from those in the past. This time many international students participated, and many people working on the front lines participated. Because of the three-year epidemic lockdown in China, the people are very dissatisfied with the CCP.
"Many domestic self-employed households, small traders, and victims who were unable to withdraw their deposits from rural banks in Henan Province also came to the United States one after another through wire transfers. They have been harboring hatred against the Chinese Communist government for a long time. This is A breaking point.”
November 27 marks the first anniversary of the “White Paper Movement” in which young Chinese people protested against the CCP’s epidemic control measures and ended the CCP’s zero-clearance policy.
Jie Lijian said that many people have awakened, and many international students have discussed the "White Paper Movement" with him, saying, "So many students in China participated in the White Paper Movement regardless of their own safety. We are so free in the United States. If we don't protest, it is a waste of life." It’s a blasphemy and there’s a sense of guilt so we have to protest.”
Chen Chuangchuang, executive director of the China Democracy Party National Committee in New York, told The Epoch Times: "Every time Xi Jinping comes to the United States, I protest on the spot. This time, the demands are for Xi Jinping to step down, the Communist Party to step down, and to release some political prisoners. In this protest, I am not only serving as a The China Democratic Party demands the release of imprisoned political prisoners, the release of Peng Lifa, and solidarity with all ethnic groups. I also have a special demand, condemning the dog slaughter campaign launched by Xi Jinping across China."
The Chinese Consulate calls on pro-communist people to join in welcoming Xi Jinping
Internet screenshots show that the Chinese Communist Party’s consulates in San Francisco and Los Angeles are also calling on Chinese university alumni associations, Chinese Students and Scholars Associations, etc. across the United States to participate in activities to welcome Xi Jinping, with all transportation and accommodation included.
Chen Chuangchuang said: "Not only Los Angeles and San Francisco, it is said that they (the Chinese Consulate) in New York are also organizing people to fly over to welcome Xi. Of course, the Communist Party paid for it. Who would do such a thing?
"The CCP does this every time. They sometimes organize hundreds or thousands of people, but what can they do? They have no experience in taking to the streets at all, and they don't even know how to welcome them on the streets. We people shout some slogans , it scared them.”
Chen Chuangchuang said: "We are very experienced in this kind of activities. Because we have many people protesting, they have to recruit some people to fight against us every time. The main reason is that the momentum is good-looking, and the pictures taken then are not He said that there were only those who opposed Xi and those who welcomed Xi, and then he only filmed the crowds organized by himself."
Sheng Xue, a Chinese writer living in Canada, told The Epoch Times, “The persecution of human rights in China has reached an unprecedented level. Various groups have asked Biden to discuss human rights issues when he meets with Xi Jinping. This is also a pressure on Biden, and For Xi Jinping, it is of course a potential threat."
Sheng Xue said: I believe Xi Jinping will receive very enthusiastic protests at this summit. This in itself will be a highlight.
